Umm, yeah, just a little awkward. At least you won’t have to worry about lack of parental approval in case you do hit it off XD
Dude you have no idea. Even the mom afterward seemed to realize what she had just done and was pretty weird after. I’m Kinda afraid that now they wont come in for a while and I’ll have missed my chance. And auto-parental-approval is nice, bit with no guarantee to last.
(to the possibility both might be bonkers)
Always a possibilty XD
Don’t I know it. The last thing I need right now is a psychotic girlfriend. Lets just hope her tendency to run her mouth off the hook around me is just due to nerves or something…
Who comes into my Barnes and Noble almost every day. Shes usually there with her mom and sisters. Pretty little thing. We talk sometimes.
The other day, she was in and so was her mother. I got a breather from dealing with customers when said mother came up to me and asked how old i was. Not wanting to be rude, I told her I just turned twenty. The following is a rough quote of her response…
"Ohhh you know my daughter is 19! You two would look so cute together. You should totally ask her out. I can give you her phone number."
So yeah, moms hit on me for their daughters while I am at work. I dont know if that is as bad as my plan to actually ask said girl out when i next see her…
So, I notice that you're a reader. To be assumed I guess since you work at a bookstore.
Anyway, if someone twisted your arm (and I am) to list your 5 favorite authors, who would you choose?
Not In any particular order: Robert Jordan, Jim Butcher, Patrick Rothfuss, Raymond E. Fiest, annnnnnddd….. JK Rowling, even though I havent Re-Read HP in a lifetime. To be fair, I have read and love SO MANY authors, these are just the ones that I hold as inspirations.
“Jesus unambiguously preached mercy and forgiveness. These are supposed to be cardinal virtues of the Christian faith. And yet Evangelicals are the most supportive of the death penalty, draconian sentencing, punitive punishment over rehabilitation, and the governmental use of torture. Jesus exhorted humans to be loving, peaceful, and non-violent. And yet Evangelicals are the group of Americans most supportive of easy-access weaponry, little-to-no regulation of handgun and semi-automatic gun ownership, not to mention the violent military invasion of various countries around the world. Jesus was very clear that the pursuit of wealth was inimical to the Kingdom of God, that the rich are to be condemned, and that to be a follower of Him means to give one’s money to the poor. And yet Evangelicals are the most supportive of corporate greed and capitalistic excess, and they are the most opposed to institutional help for the nation’s poor — especially poor children. They hate anything that smacks of “socialism,” even though that is essentially what their Savior preached. They despise food stamp programs, subsidies for schools, hospitals, job training — anything that might dare to help out those in need. Even though helping out those in need was exactly what Jesus urged humans to do. In short, Evangelicals are that segment of America which is the most pro-militaristic, pro-gun, and pro-corporate, while simultaneously claiming to be most ardent lovers of the Prince of Peace.”—Phil Zuckerman (via azspot)
What do you find most attractive (physically and personality-wise) in the opposite sex?
A sense of every bit fitting together. A person who is confident in themselves and whos body doesnt have any disproportionate parts. (Ie, no girls who are supper skinny with massive breasts/backsides. everythings gotta be proportionate,)
